What does a finished repair look like?

A damaged rug doesn't have to become a discarded rug. Chewed corners, fraying edges, and failing backings get fixed at the same bench where your rug is washed — quoted up front, approved by you first.
What we fix
Dogs love rug corners — we've rebuilt plenty of them. The side cords are re-wrapped and secured so the damage stops spreading and the repair blends into the original edge.
Gray, stained, or unraveling fringe makes a clean rug look tired. Fringes get their own cleaning during the wash, and torn or missing sections can be repaired or secured.
Miami humidity is hard on glued rug backings — they crumble, separate, and shed grit. We remove the failed backing and rebuild it so the rug lies flat and stops leaving debris on your floor.
Once a rug's end binding lets go, every vacuum pass pulls out more knots. Securing it early is a small job; waiting turns it into a big one.
Wine, coffee, rust marks from furniture — treated individually with dedicated spotting products after the main wash, not smeared around by a surface machine.
After cleaning, a stain protector can be applied to high-traffic pieces — worthwhile for some rugs, unnecessary for others. We'll give you a straight recommendation, not a default upsell.

A hand-knotted rug with decades of life left is almost always worth saving; a worn machine-made piece sometimes isn't. When repair cost approaches replacement cost, we say so plainly and let you decide with real numbers in front of you.
Every repair is photographed, priced, and approved by you before we touch a needle.
